The Network Engineer Level II will be responsible for designing, testing, upgrading, and integrating new or existing information networks. This includes LAN, WLAN, WAN, intranets, and extranets, ensuring alignment with the organization's business requirements. The role involves documenting the engineering process, coordinating network changes with administrators and stakeholders, and implementing security measures. The engineer will perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, evaluate new technologies, and assist with complex troubleshooting issues, including vendor coordination. Day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed networks may also be required, applying fundamental engineering concepts. Collaboration with senior technical and user staff is essential to complete projects.
