About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Network Engineer Level 3 to join their team in San Diego, CA. This role operates on a 9/80A schedule with work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Science in a STEM field with 5 years of experience, or Master's in a STEM field with 3 years of experience, or PhD in a STEM field with 1 year of experience.
• CompTIA Network+ or similar certification.
• Experience with Juniper, SDWAN, and Cisco routers and switches.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• CCNA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan network communications systems.
• Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provide detailed hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to support current and future business needs.
• Conduct testing of network designs.
• Maintain technical expertise in network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
• Evaluate and recommend new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.
