About The Position

EOA Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for providing Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.

Requirements

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• IAT Level 2 Certification
• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
• Five (5) years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Support on-call requirements.
• Work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
