About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This is an onsite position responsible for managing and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate across teams and locations. Requirements

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site network environments.
  • This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in Cisco or similar networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and network security principles.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • CCNP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • Ensure network performance, availability, and security meet organizational standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Provide Tier III support for escalated network problems.
  • Plan and execute network hardware/software upgrades and migrations.
  • Deploy and integrate new technologies to optimize network performance.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare reports on network health, capacity planning, and incident resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
