The Network Engineer III is a senior technical role responsible for designing, supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud-connected environments. This position provides Level 3 escalation for complex network incidents, outages, performance issues, and root cause analysis, serving as a key technical resource for infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations teams. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including Cisco switching, routing, Nexus data center platforms, Catalyst Center/DNA Center, Cisco wireless controllers and access points, Cisco ISE, and related enterprise monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes and SolarWinds. Responsibilities include supporting routing and switching protocols and services such as BGP, EIGRP, VXLAN, VLANs, QoS, MPLS, and SD-WAN technologies. This position also supports secure hybrid and cloud networking architectures, including VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, SD-WAN, and inter-site routing between on-premises data centers and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Network security responsibilities include firewall administration, network segmentation, Zero Trust alignment, 802.1X authentication, device profiling, guest access, role-based access control, and integration of Cisco ISE with Active Directory and security platforms. The Network Engineer III also leads advanced wireless networking support, including configuration, optimization, troubleshooting and implementation of enterprise wireless security standards. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of enterprise networking experience, strong Cisco expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while supporting reliable, secure, and scalable network operations. The Network Engineer III is responsible for activities related to the selection, design, implementation, support, and maintenance of network information systems supporting the activities of Bronson Healthcare Group. This position is also responsible for oversight of multiple project components by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to timeline and budget relating to implementing infrastructure systems. The Network Engineer III is responsible for the documentation, communication of system and related components, and coordination within their team and with other IT, Customer and Vendor teams. The Network Engineer III is responsible for issue tracking and escalation, risk identification and management, and process identification and improvement relating to system and network components and tasks.
