About The Position

The Network Engineer III is a senior technical contributor responsible for the engineering, operations, and advanced troubleshooting of the company’s enterprise infrastructure. This individual serves as the highest level of engineering escalation and plays a key role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions across corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. The Network Engineer III partners closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to support business operations and technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Hands-on experience with: Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
  • Hands-on experience with: Data center networking (leaf-spine, EVPN/VXLAN)
  • Hands-on experience with: WAN / SD-WAN architectures
  • Hands-on experience with: Network security, segmentation, and firewalls
  • Hands-on experience with: Cisco (ACI), Aruba
  • Hands-on experience with: Fortinet / Palo Alto
  • Hands-on experience with: F5 (load balancing)
  • Hands-on experience with: Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM)
  • Experience designing large-scale, multi-site or retail networks
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and data center environments
  • Develop scalable architectures to support high availability, performance, and resiliency
  • Lead the deployment of routing, switching, and network security technologies
  • Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex network incidents and outages
  • Perform deep packet and flow analysis and root cause investigations
  • Resolve issues related to routing, latency, connectivity, and network performance
  • Support operational teams with complex network troubleshooting
  • Participate in major incident response and post-incident reviews
  • Assist with capacity planning and performance optimization
  • Lead upgrades and modernization projects such as: SD-WAN deployments, Network segmentation initiatives, Cloud network integration, Data center network upgrades
  • Maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation
  • Establish configuration standards and best practices
  • Support change management and operational procedures
  • Partner with Security teams on segmentation, compliance, and risk management
  • Partner with Cloud teams on hybrid and multi-cloud networking
  • Partner with Application teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
  • Participate in governance forums (CAB, architecture review boards)
  • Identify opportunities to improve Network resiliency and performance, Operational simplicity and automation
  • Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs
