PURPOSE The Network Engineers at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi are key members of the Information Technology Department, within the Division of Infrastructure & Research Computing, responsible for the effective design, provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of network systems throughout their lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting both on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructure, implementing patches, addressing vulnerabilities, applying software updates, and configuring new features to enhance network performance and security. The role also requires building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and vendors to ensure that the network systems and related procedures effectively support the success of our university's strategic goals.
