About The Position

11:11 seeks a skilled Network Engineer, Cloud Integrations to help customers implement their services in 11:11’s global cloud infrastructure. This role is part of the Service Operations team and requires deep experience as a Cisco network engineer, with a passion for designing, deploying, and troubleshooting secure, highly available network solutions in cloud and data center environments. The position is critical for delivering reliable connectivity and a high-quality customer experience during migrations and ongoing operations across 11:11’s cloud platforms. This is a full-time remote role, based in the United States, reporting to the Manager, Service Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or University degree in a related field of study, or equivalent years of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on Cisco network engineer in enterprise or service provider environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, IPsec, network segmentation, VRFs, switching, VLANs, and load balancers (required).
  • Experience working within a global data center and/or cloud environment.
  • Experience deploying virtual and physical network appliances in cloud environments, preferably including Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Netscaler, Kemp, F5, SonicWall, and Juniper Networks.
  • Ability to automate network deployments and configurations (e.g., scripting, infrastructure-as-code tools) to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Demonstrated customer-first mindset, with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative working style, operating supportively with colleagues across Service Operations, Cloud, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment; ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone/video; occasional travel to offices as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification with documented work experience is preferred.
  • Experience with virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking, including VMware NSX, is preferred.
  • Professional experience in consulting or other enterprise customer-facing technical support role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary networking deployment engineer responsible for customer experience during datacenter and customer migration efforts into 11:11’s cloud environment.
  • Design and architect network topologies for diverse customer environments, aligning with 11:11’s cloud architecture standards and security best practices.
  • Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking configurations, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments.
  • Collaborate with project managers, Cloud Integration engineers, support teams, and account executives to plan and deliver successful customer implementations.
  • Perform detailed customer assessments to understand networking requirements and translate them into scalable, supportable designs in 11:11’s global infrastructure.
  • Document work thoroughly in the company ticketing system and create/maintain up-to-date documentation in the knowledge base.
  • Develop and maintain standardized deployment processes and runbooks as technologies, tools, and permissions change.
  • Assist Cloud Integration engineers, support teams, and account executives with advanced customer issues, including escalations that require deep network troubleshooting.
  • Pursue advanced certifications and stay abreast of current technologies in the Juniper/Fortigate/Palo Alto/Cisco/VMware product space to continually enhance service quality.
  • Ability to automate processes and builds where possible to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency in Service Operations.
  • Able to work after hours and on weekends as required to support customer migrations, changes, and incident response.

  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies.
  • Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements.
