About The Position

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls. The Level 3 Network Engineer must possess the following skills and experience: Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC) Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite Able to support on-call requirements Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

Requirements

• Eight years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite
• United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).
