About The Position

Fulfill, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, has been dedicated to addressing hunger in the Jersey Shore community since 1984. Our mission is to accelerate food security throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties by leading a collaborative movement that connects people to food and related resources while also addressing systemic barriers to self-sufficiency and well-being. Fulfill proudly works with a network of nearly 300 partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters to provide 1.3 million meals per month to more than 130,000 families, children, seniors and veterans in need. Committed to more than just food distribution, Fulfill also offers connections to affordable healthcare options, Medicaid, SNAP and other services to help neighbors lead healthy lives with the food they need to thrive. Our headquarters is in Neptune with a satellite branch (The BEAT Center) in Toms River. The Network Engagement Team (NET) collaborates with nearly 300 partner agencies and programs to provide emergency food assistance to the community. This role supports the coordination of agency partnerships, engagement initiatives, capacity-building efforts, compliance reporting, and routine office operations.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience working at a nonprofit and/or experience working with government programs.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Prior database experience or proven ability to gain proficiency in database applications within 90 days.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve challenges proactively and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for work at other locations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reporting for government programs, including The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), ensuring accuracy, timely issue resolution, and performing monthly allocations of government commodities.
  • Oversee the Client Management Tool (CMT) online portal utilized by agency partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partner agencies and community programs to support food distribution efforts.
  • Coordinate communication with network partners, providing timely updates, resources, and assistance as needed.
  • Assist in planning and executing partner engagement initiatives, including training, meetings, and capacity-building activities.
  • Monitor partner agency compliance with food safety, reporting, and distribution guidelines; assist in conducting site visits and evaluations.
  • Support the collection, review, and submission of partner agency reports to ensure accurate data tracking and compliance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for partner inquiries, providing excellent customer service and problem-solving support.
  • Assist in the coordination of new partner onboarding, including documentation, training, and system setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address partner needs, resolve challenges, and support network growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner agency interactions, documentation, and compliance status in designated databases.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, report preparation, and file management to support daily operations.
