Requirements

Two (2) year degree in computer science, IT, or related degree or minimum of 5 year related work experience.
Minimum three (3) years of on-the-job experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
Expert with Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Edge).
Frequent, sitting, standing, and repetition with hands.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Configure and set up computer systems, ensuring all users have access to the necessary software and resources. Including but not limited to imaging of PCs (Both Laptop, and desktops), printers, PC/Server applications, Phones, and Cell phones.
Collaborate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Install and update operating systems, software applications, and security patches as needed.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, both wired and wireless.
Investigate and address system errors, including hardware and software malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
Provide timely technical support to employees facing network-related problems.
Act as main liaison point between IT Germany team and the US team for troubleshooting, updating, and implementing system changes. This may require working during non-standard hours.
Work closely with outside vendors and German IT staff on handoff protocols, and procedures for escalated action topics.
Perform routine maintenance on printers, phones, and other network equipment to ensure their optimal performance.
Monitor equipment performance and replace or upgrade components as needed.
Maintain an inventory of network hardware and software licenses.
Run Monthly reports for software and finance team as required.
Assist in running exception reports to find SAP errors and Keep data system clean.
Work with manager on process improvement implementation, including system testing, review of failures, and maintaining approval and signatory guidelines.
Digitizing and process improvements for systems implementation projects. Example of projects - scanning documents, moving documentation to the google filing system, reviewing Salesforce or SAP data for accuracy and improvement.
