We are looking for a Network Controller to work in Scott AFB, IL supporting our client. This role involves creating and optimizing tickets, triaging and managing ticket queues, analyzing network-event data, and performing incident correlation and fault analysis. The Network Controller will also be responsible for notifying points of contact, supporting fault isolation, providing global situational awareness, designing corrective-action plans, and engineering network restoration and service-reroute strategies. This position requires providing continuous analytical oversight and engineering support for mission-critical network operations, including Tier 1/Tier 2 support, and timely situational awareness to leadership. The role also involves evaluating and providing feedback for training, standard operating procedures, and tools capabilities, as well as incident escalation and technical advice. The Network Controller will serve as a technical authority, providing analytical guidance on network architecture, routing, and performance optimization, with a comprehensive understanding of networking principles. Advanced technical support for the DISN customer and independent work on future operations projects are also key aspects of this role. The position requires resolving multi-layer complex issues and demonstrating extensive proficiency in specialized DISN functions.
