About The Position

Equifax is looking for a Network Control Technician to join our growing team! This individual will perform as the first line of defense on a 24/7 support team to take appropriate action toward resolving system and network problems and respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges while minimizing the impact on customer service. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • At least 2-4 years of experience solving system and network issues, preferably in a call center or support center environment
  • A computer networking or related degree
  • CompTIA Network+ or A+ Certification
  • At least 1 year of experience with Bomgar, PuTTY, WinSCP
  • At least 1 year of experience with a ticket system, Service Now preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform as the first line of defense on a 24/7 support team to take appropriate action toward resolving system and network problems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges while minimizing the impact on customer service.
  • Troubleshoot complex network, systems, or applications processes with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and suggest improvements in products and processes.
  • Document clear and precise steps in troubleshooting.
  • Provide excellent customer service supporting Windows and Linux-based applications.
