About The Position

The Network Configuration Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the successful resolution of any ticket that comes into the ticket queue, communicate with other contract and government personnel in support of ticket resolution, and provide general configuration management and compliance support to the networks and broader enterprise as necessary. Provide technical support and analysis related to configuration management and ensure compliance with policies and standards across the network. Support the work of the Network Management and Network Engineering Units by executing supporting tasks documented in either the service ticket management system or the project management system and reporting the results of those tasks into the appropriate system. Provide technical support and expertise toward the resolution of outages and issues with IT networks and systems. Provide feedback through the Senior Network Analyst and Project Lead on possible improvements to systems and processes observed through the course of their work. Provide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactions. Contribute to data analysis and reporting, including after action reviews of critical tickets.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing complex networks
  • Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems.
  • Must have good knowledge of general network and security tools and methodologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and access control lists.
  • Moderate skill in scripting / coding (python, go, Perl, Bash, etc.) to support network automation tasks
