About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Network Automation Consultant with experience in Itential to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network automation solutions using Itential. Itential is a plus, a substitute for this experience could be 5-6 years direct with just Ansible & Python. This role requires a deep understanding of network automation, multi-vendor environments, and a strong ability to tailor automation solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network automation.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Itential.
• Expertise in Itential automation solutions, including workflow design, custom scripting, and multi-vendor integration.
• Proficiency in network automation tools such as Ansible & Python.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including SNMP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Itential-based automation solutions to streamline network configuration, provisioning, and management.
• Create custom Itential workflows and integrations to automate network tasks, enhance performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Design scalable automation solutions that support multi-vendor network environments and meet client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their network automation needs and develop tailored Itential solutions that address their unique challenges.
• Provide expert advice on best practices for network automation and orchestration, leveraging Itential's capabilities to optimize network operations.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate clients on Itential features, automation strategies, and implementation techniques.
• Integrate Itential with existing network management tools and IT systems, including IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms and cloud services.
• Customize Itential automation workflows and APIs to fit specific organizational needs and enhance overall network efficiency.
• Implement Itential's network assurance tools to monitor network performance, detect anomalies, and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Develop and deploy reporting and alerting mechanisms to provide insights into network performance and automation results.
• Provide ongoing support for Itential-based automation solutions, addressing issues and implementing enhancements based on client feedback and evolving requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize automation processes to improve performance and efficiency.
