About The Position

This role involves testing enterprise customer features and related products. The engineer will participate in preparing test strategies and plans, reviewing them with experts, and engaging in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and stand-ups. The position also requires the preparation, review, and updating of test designs, strategy specifications, and feature/product test specifications. Implementation and testing of features and products will follow the software delivery process, including the development of subsystem/unit test cases for various scenarios. Developing standalone scripts for testing is considered an advantage. The engineer will provide timely reports to both the customer and internal management.

Requirements

• Experience in testing customer premise equipments
• Experienced in black box, white box testing, UAT and E2E testing experience of network equipment and virtualization solutions.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies concepts
• L2/L3 domain Knowledge and usage of test equipments and Traffic Generators
• Networking Protocols knowledge (VLAN, DHCP, QoS, BGP, DPI, TCP, UDP, Syslog, SNMP, NTP, DNS, Firewall/ACL, HTTP/HTTPS, IPSec, VxLAN
• Experience in virtualization and hypervisor testing
• Experience and knowledge in operating system concepts.
• Agile and continuous Delivery methodologies
• Good Communication skills and team player.

Nice To Haves

• Scripting/Automation Skills are added advantage – ROBOT automation, Perl, Python, TCL, Shell
• Netconf, YANG Modelling knowledge added advantage
• Experience and knowledge in openstack, VMs, service chaining.
• Experience and knowledge in SDN/NFV technologies.

Responsibilities
