About The Position

Innova Solutions is hiring a Network Automation Engineer for an 18-month contract. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based automation solutions; integrating F5, NSX, and cloud platforms; building API-driven orchestration workflows; and delivering scalable network automation across hybrid infrastructure environments. The position is based in Chandler, Arizona; Plano, Texas; or Jersey City, with three days onsite.

The successful candidate will develop web-based automation applications, integrate network technologies and cloud services, and contribute to reliable, scalable automation. This is a W-2-only engagement; 1099 and Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not accepted. The stated pay range is $65–$68 per hour on W-2, with the final rate depending on factors such as education, experience, location, duties, and certifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and proven experience developing Python-based automation solutions.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with F5 (iControl REST), NSX, and AVI/NSX ALB APIs, and integrating technologies such as F5, NSX, and AVI/NSX ALB.
• Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
• Expertise in Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI; experience designing and developing web-based automation applications with these frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SDKs, and system integrations.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Go, and Bash scripting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building AI-driven or closed-loop automation workflows.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, McAfee, or TippingPoint products.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, and JIRA.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testing experience.
• Banking or regulated-industry experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
