About The Position

As a Network Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructures that support RTX's mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead network modernization initiatives, troubleshoot complex network and security issues, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with enterprise-level network hardware, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting practices.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related technical field.
Deep expertise in network architecture, design, and implementation.
Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF, and network security standards.
CCIE or equivalent advanced networking certification.
Experience working in highly classified or mission-critical environments.
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions and hybrid network architectures.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, RMF, or CMMC.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Apply advanced networking and cybersecurity practices within highly regulated aerospace and defense environments.
