About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking a Network Architect for our client in Tallahassee, Florida. This is a temporary contract assignment for up to 2080 hours during FY26-27. The contracted staff should have a history of technical staff augmentation, specifically with the State of Florida, and be proficient in supporting Unified Communications (UC) environments. The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, effective collaboration, and a willingness to mentor. Due to the nature of the work, a flexible schedule, potentially including off-hours and holidays, may be necessary.
Requirements
- More than five (5) years working experience with Enterprise level IT support.
- More than five (5) years working experience in LAN/WLAN/WAN design, implementation and support.
- More than five (5) years working experience with Network Switches (Juniper, Cisco).
- More than five (5) years working experience with Load Balancers (Kemp, F5).
- More than five (5) years working experience in Design and Maintenance of Storage Area Networks (SANs).
- More than five (5) years working experience in Network Security to include ACLs, Firewall Policy, Proxy Policy and Mail Gateway management (Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco Ironports).
- More than five (5) years working experience with POTS, PRI and SIP Trunks.
- More than five (5) years working experience with Cloud Networking and hybrid connectivity.
- Working experience implementing and supporting Cisco Collaboration stack (UCM, UCCX, Unity Connection).
- Working experience designing network resiliency (Disaster Recovery, High Availability).
- Experience with enterprise level network support procedures to include network monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, performance optimization, incident response, and network security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Provide staff augmentation for up to 2080 hours during FY26-27.
