About The Position
Insight Xcite is seeking an expert-level Network Architect in Sterling, Virginia, to design, evaluate, and modernize secure enterprise network architectures supporting critical mission environments.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience designing and modernizing large enterprise networks.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, VPNs, and high-availability design.
- Experience developing architecture artifacts, technical standards, and implementation plans.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical-leadership, and stakeholder-communication skills.
- Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other government customers.
- Experience with AWS or Azure networking, zero trust, software-defined networking, or network automation.
- Advanced Cisco, Juniper, cloud, or network-security certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network architectures.
- Develop standards and technical solutions for routing, switching, segmentation, network security, and resilient connectivity.
- Evaluate current environments and produce modernization roadmaps, trade studies, and implementation guidance.
- Integrate on-premises networks with cloud services, firewalls, VPNs, and mission systems.
- Lead technical reviews and produce architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and operational documentation.
