About The Position

This position improves mill reliability by reducing unplanned downtime, increasing throughput, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Network Analyst position supports high-availability infrastructure technology at production facilities across the US that operate 24x7x365. The plants and mills require a reliable network to reduce unplanned downtime, increased throughput and allow the sites to adherence to safety and quality standards. This position provides level two and three support for LAN, WAN, VOIP, and Telecom Technologies, as well as participating on teams that support company-wide projects across multiple sites. Travel will be required to various sites depending on the needs of business projects (less than 20%). This position will also be expected to perform desk side support for the Langhorne facility. These tasks are expected to take less than 20% of this position’s bandwidth.

Requirements

  • 4-year IT degree with an emphasis on networking
  • Proficient in installing and maintaining Cisco Routers, Cisco ISE and Wireless, Palo Alto Firewalls, Active Directory, with a strong grasp of Cyber Security and IP Telecommunications
  • Cisco IOS and XIOS switches, routers and wireless components
  • Cisco and Palo alto firewalls and content management systems
  • Dedicated Layer2 and DMVPN circuits using EIGRP and BGP routing
  • Active Directory, DNS and DHCP infrastructure technologies
  • Telephony - MS Teams, VoIP, Digital and Analog phone systems
  • Interface technologies from serial data to fiber optics
  • Basic generic IT troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not a mandatory requirement
  • Networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar, are highly valued
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Level two and three support for network infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions
  • Proactively support and maintain data communications systems
  • Monitor network health
  • Install hardware such as cables, switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
  • Configure network switches and routers
  • Remotely trouble shoot network issues with the support on-site technicians
  • Develop test and implementation plans for various projects
  • Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors
  • Write supporting documentation and standard operating procedures for network systems
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
  • Upgrade network hardware and software components as required
  • Solve and assist in solving complex problems with many variables
  • This position includes being on call for after-hours support
  • Basic desk side support tasks
