About The Position

Washington County’s Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Network Analyst II to join the Information Security Division. The Network Analyst II requires a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and a genuine passion for protecting digital environments. This position blends technical expertise, analytical thinking, and personal drive, enabling the County to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of cybersecurity. This position is not represented by a Union. This position is part of the Management Administrative Personnel System (MAPPS).

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND two (2) years of experience providing professional-level information technology analysis and support; OR An Associate's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND four (4) years of experience providing professional-level information technology analysis and support; OR Six (6) years of experience providing professional-level technology analysis and support.
  • Possession of a driver's license valid in the State of Oregon and an acceptable driving record per Washington County policy.
  • Selected candidate will be required to participate in an extensive background check.

  • Any of the following certifications may substitute for one (1) year of required education. Responsibilities
