Requirements

Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 1+ years of experience
2+ years of network engineering experience
Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
Current IAT Level II certification
Current networking certification (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP, Brocade, or Aruba)
Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, or Aruba technologies
Strong understanding of network design, security, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable LAN/WAN network architectures
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure reliability and uptime
Plan and execute network upgrades, enhancements, and capacity improvements
Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure remote access
Maintain network integrity, documentation, backup/recovery capabilities, and compliance with regulations
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements based on industry best practices
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity efforts
Provide technical guidance to junior network personnel
Coordinate acquisition of hardware/software and vendor engagements as needed
