Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of IT support experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the implementation and support of Azure Intune and Active Directory workstation environments, along with extensive expertise in managing the Microsoft 365 product suites.
  • Proven track record in effectively managing Microsoft OS and software applications, covering deployment, patching, and monitoring of endpoint services.
  • Excellent knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in troubleshooting and support as well as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and network management software – this includes TCP/IP 4 routing/firewall/VLAN abilities.
  • Experience working with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
  • Considerable skills in the design and implementation of secure networked computer systems and storage, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Positive, well-spoken, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and excellent time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with managing or administering NetSuite
  • Current certifications and training: Network+, A+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Experience with NIST frameworks like 800-171, 800-53, and CSF.
  • P2V and V2V migrations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and other network infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, patches, and updates.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure services, resources, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor Azure utilization and recommend cost optimization strategies.
  • Configure and maintain backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Support cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Configure, manage, and support Microsoft Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services.
  • Manage user accounts, licensing, security policies, and device management.
  • Ensure the stability, security, and compliance of the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-hosted (Azure) servers.
  • Monitor server health, performance, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot server, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform proactive maintenance, patch management, and system upgrades.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  • Manage inventory and lifecycle planning for IT assets and equipment.
  • Install, configure, update, and support enterprise software applications.
  • Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Administer and maintain business-critical software platforms and systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across systems.
  • Conduct end-user training on technology tools, security awareness, and best practices.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving IT-related requests and incidents.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve cybersecurity controls and best practices.
  • Monitor security events, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
  • Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Promote security awareness and educate employees on cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, networks, configurations, and IT assets.
  • Develop and update technical procedures, standards, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, infrastructure health, security, and technology initiatives.
  • Ensure documentation remains current and supports operational continuity.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Recommend infrastructure improvements that enhance performance, security, and scalability.
  • Participate in technology projects, upgrades, and strategic IT initiatives.
