About The Position

Constellation West is a 29-year WOSB and Prime Federal Contractor bidding on IT/info management work for USASMDC. The company delivers Information Technology (IT) engineering services and solutions and non-IT subject matter expertise worldwide, partnering with key organizations and supporting various U.S. federal government agencies. This role involves managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity, while ensuring network security and performance. Constellation West aims to provide fully integrated solutions covering all aspects of system and network engineering, administration, and management, seeking individuals ready for exciting challenges within a dynamic team.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience
4-year degree -OR- additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL
Active SECRET clearance
DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (minimum Security+)
Cisco/Juniper routers and switches
Network security, VPNs, firewalls
Network monitoring and troubleshooting
Proficient with virtualization and cloud computing software/Zero Client architecture, and CISCO networking technologies

Responsibilities

Manages network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity
Ensures network security and performance
Maintain network configuration in compliance with the latest Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
