About The Position

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Network Administrator III in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. The Network Administrator III supports the Navy by administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in network administration or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with enterprise network technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+ depending on level).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in distributed and high-availability environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems.
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, and network services.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues affecting connectivity and availability.
  • Implement network configurations, patches, and updates.
  • Support compliance with STIGs and network security policies.
  • Assist in incident response and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on network improvements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.
