About The Position

Under the general direction of the Network Administrator II, the Network Administrator I is responsible for helping to ensure the stable, secure operation, and high availability of computer networks utilized by WPCU and myCUmortgage.

Requirements

• Hardware and software technical support
• 2nd tier support for LAN/WAN problems
• 2nd tier support for system communication problems
• 2nd tier support for PC support
• Network and system administration (physical and virtual)
• Administration of the Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Administration of backup storage solution
• Managing 3rd party professional services vendors
• Managing technological projects

Responsibilities

• Providing hardware and software technical support to all users and providing 2nd tier support for LAN/WAN problems, system communication problems and PC support.
• Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed.
• Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated.
• Performing network and system administration (physical and virtual).
• Administration of the Storage Area Network (SAN) and backup storage solution.
• Managing 3rd party professional services vendors.
• Manage technological projects as assigned.
