About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. This role serves as the liaison between agency staff and external IT vendors/contractors, helping coordinate support activities, track issues, and ensure timely resolution of technical requests. The position supports IT operations across networking, systems, cybersecurity, and web coordination, and assists with IT asset management, software license tracking, website content updates, and help desk triage.

Requirements

• Experience working in a small office or government environment.
• Familiarity with Commonwealth of Virginia IT standards (VITA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage IT vendors and contractors.
• Serve as the communication bridge between non-technical staff and technical support teams.
• Track open tickets, monitor deliverables, and escalate issues as needed.
• Support IT operations across networking, systems, cybersecurity, and web coordination.
• Assist with IT asset management and software license tracking.
• Coordinate website content updates (non-development).
• Support help desk triage and issue escalation.
• Assist with project coordination and task management.
• Maintain awareness of IT compliance and cybersecurity standards.
