About The Position

The Item Master & Product Data Analyst will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of all product-related data within NetSuite across both Aprés and Kindred brands. This role will own the complete Item Master lifecycle, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of product information throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of NetSuite with exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, E-commerce, Finance, Operations, Demand Planning, Procurement, Regulatory, IT, and Supply Chain teams. This individual will become the primary subject matter expert and steward of our product data infrastructure, ensuring that NetSuite evolves alongside the business and remains a reliable foundation for operational and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience working within NetSuite ERP
  • Strong understanding of Item Masters, SKU structures, and product hierarchies
  • Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Understanding of inventory management and warehouse systems
  • Familiarity with Shopify integrations and product synchronization workflows
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting product development, manufacturing, consumer goods, beauty, or CPG industries preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own all product records, SKU structures, UPC codes, and item attributes (classifications, dimensions, costs, pricing) in NetSuite
  • Serve as primary Item Master owner for Aprés; manage new item setup through commercialization
  • Define standards for SKU lifecycle (inactivation criteria/cadence) and variant SKU rules (e.g., –NP suffix), replacing current ad hoc processes
  • Enforce data governance standards via routine audits
  • Create, maintain, and revise BOMs and ECOs; partner with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Procurement
  • Validate all product records and BOMs before commercialization
  • Build NetSuite expertise; identify process/automation improvements; troubleshoot data issues with IT
  • Support item sync across NetSuite, WMS, and Shopify; monitor data integrity and resolve sync issues
  • Own UoM setup and maintenance (conversions, case packs, pallet quantities), with dedicated support for any high SKU turnover
  • Own DG classification for all shippable items/kits (transitioning from IT); partner with Compliance and Logistics to validate against regulations
  • Standardize DG classification at item setup rather than reactively
  • Support Phase 1 of storing formulation/compliance documents in NetSuite, linked to item/BOM records
  • Serve as central point of contact for product data across Sales, Ecommerce, Finance, Ops, Demand Planning, Procurement, Regulatory, R&D, and IT
  • Partner continuously with Demand Planning: proactive SKU deactivation/creation communication, BOM component updates, and flagging downstream impacts
  • Build a centralized Vendor/Product Certificate Registry (Phase 2)
  • Champion NetSuite as the single source of truth; proactively flag data risks and improvement opportunities
