About The Position

The NetSuite Developer designs, customizes, and optimizes NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) solutions. The role calls for broad IT programming capabilities and strong integration experience, working across cloud, web, and backend technologies to build scalable customizations, improve eCommerce functionality, and connect NetSuite with enterprise systems through middleware. The developer works with Business Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions. The position manages the development lifecycle from sandbox development and testing through deployment and post-production support; resolves issues across ERP, eCommerce, integrations, and IT services; documents technical designs and data flows; and helps advance development practices, security, performance, data governance, and scalability.

Requirements

3–5+ years of NetSuite development experience; SuiteCommerce/SCA experience is preferred.
Proficiency with general-purpose programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, Java, C#, SQL, or Node.js.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
Strong understanding of SuiteScript, NetSuite APIs, workflows, saved searches, and data structures.
Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems using Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar middleware.
Comfort working across IT domains, including web development, backend services, integrations, and automation.
U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, serverless functions, or microservices.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.
SuiteCommerce Advanced site development or large-scale eCommerce enhancements.
NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCommerce Developer, or SuiteScript Developer.
Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern SDLC tools.
Understanding of ERP business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, and Finance.
Experience developing integration flows in Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.
Experience building reusable APIs, data workflows, or microservice integrations across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Develop SuiteScript 1.0/2.x scripts, workflows, and custom ERP and eCommerce solutions.
Build, extend, and optimize SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced front-end and back-end components.
Configure and customize NetSuite ERP, CRM, Order Management, and eCommerce modules.
Develop integrations using RESTlets, REST APIs, and middleware such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.
Apply programming and IT development skills across languages and frameworks to support integrations, automation, and backend processing.
Build and maintain solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, SQL, and Node.js.
Support API development, data transformation pipelines, and cloud-based services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
Manage the development lifecycle, including sandbox development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ERP, eCommerce, integrations, and IT services.
Apply best practices for security, performance, data governance, and scalability.
Document technical designs, system architecture, data flows, and customizations.
Evaluate NetSuite and SCA updates and ensure compatibility with existing solutions.
Provide technical leadership on eCommerce, ERP, and integration projects and promote scalable architectures and cross-team collaboration.
