About The Position

The NC DHHS Information Technology Division (ITD) is actively developing a web-based software product using Agile, Lean, and Scrum development techniques. This is a full-stack development project using .Net, SQL Server, Angular, JSON, C#, with a DevOps release pipeline. This is a very exciting project for the leading edge test professional. The team needs to add test professionals who thrive in a scrum environment and are looking to put their test automation skills to use in a rapidly moving agile development environment. The opportunity to lead test automation activities as part of a scrum team that is pursuing end-to-end automation as part of a DevOps release strategy is wide-open. The ideal candidate must have experience working within a scrum development team and be willing to work as an integral part of the team to help the team understand and create test cases, test plans, integration test plans, performance test plans, and user acceptance test plans. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, test data regeneration, automated regression testing, and willingness to do whatever it takes to empower their team for test automation success. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Jenkins would be excellent empowering skills that could make a huge difference.

Requirements

• 7 Years Experience using HP Quality Center ALM tool
• 2 Years Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM
• 5 Years Experience testing against Microsoft .NET C# applications
• 5 Years Experience testing against Microsoft WPF applications
• 5 Years SQL Server 2012 and higher experience
• 7 Years .NET4.0 and higher experience
• 7 Years IIS 5.0 and 7.5 experience
• 5 Years XML experience
• 7 Years SOAP experience
• 5 Years Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) experience
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong Problem solving and analytical skills
• 3 Years Experience with interpreting business requirements to create all-inclusive test case scenarios
