About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support the modernization of a large-scale enterprise transaction platform through microservices and modular architecture. The selected candidate will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, developing backend services using .NET Core and C#, while collaborating with architects, cloud engineers, database developers, API developers, and QA teams.

Requirements

7+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core and C#.
7+ years of experience building REST APIs and microservices.
7+ years of experience working with SQL Server in Azure VM environments.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices.
7+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
7+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Must physically reside and work within the United States throughout the contract.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Experience with distributed systems and high-availability applications.
Experience integrating backend systems with SSIS or Databricks ETL pipelines.
Knowledge of tolling or transportation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using .NET Core and C#.
Build and enhance application features as part of a modernization initiative.
Develop scalable microservices and modular application components.
Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access solutions.
Optimize application performance across multiple layers.
Integrate applications with Azure cloud services and components.
Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum sprints.
Integrate backend applications with ETL solutions such as SSIS or Databricks.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
