About The Position

This team supports a large portfolio of work. The role is best suited for a hands-on application/data engineer who is comfortable working across legacy and modern stacks, supporting production systems, and helping the team migrate and modernize ETL and application workloads. Because the backlog is consistently full, this is a high-impact role where the person will immediately help reduce operational load and move modernization efforts forward. The biggest gap on this team currently is migrating away from SSIS and into Spark/Python environments. This resource will help other team members upskill with this technology and be responsible for a backlog that could include developing with .NET, ETL, and front-end technologies.

Requirements

• .NET
• SQL databases (strong querying and data troubleshooting skills)
• ETL experience
• SSIS (current-state support)
• Understanding of data pipelines and integrations
• Python
• Spark
• API development and integration experience
• Angular and React (React depth not as important as only some apps have react)
• Azure experience (especially ACE patterns)
• Data lake or large-scale data integration

Responsibilities

• Migrating ETL workloads from SSIS to Spark/Python environments.
• Developing with .NET, ETL, and front-end technologies.
• Supporting production systems.
• Helping the team migrate and modernize ETL and application workloads.
