About The Position

Wipro Limited is hiring a .Net Developer for an onsite role in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves developing and supporting applications using Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. The developer will work with REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, testing, secure coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, with a focus on high-availability, mission-critical applications. The expected compensation ranges from $80,000 to $158,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
7+ years of experience in application development using Microsoft technologies.
Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8.
Strong expertise in ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core Web API.
Strong expertise in Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core.
Strong expertise in SQL Server database development and performance optimization.
Strong expertise in REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong expertise in Git source control.
Strong expertise in Azure DevOps or GitLab CI/CD.
Strong expertise in unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
Strong expertise in secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
Strong expertise in application troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and architectural best practices.
Experience developing high-availability, mission-critical applications.
Mandatory skill: FullStack Microsoft .NET Smart Web App.
