About The Position

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with business analysts to understand needs and identify technical approaches, developing new features, improving existing applications, and fixing bugs. You will present features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business and receive feedback. The role also includes participating in Scrum activities like daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives, and demos. You will also improve and automate cross-functional tasks related to CI/CD frameworks or Observability. As a full member of the team, you will handle numerous upcoming projects and contribute to, fix, and refactor our current codebase. Additionally, you will provide visibility to management and supply necessary indicators for decision-making.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work with complex information systems
  • Knowledge of the financial markets (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.)
  • Organizational skills, methodical, analytical
  • Experience with .Net - DB: SQL Server / Oracle / Postgresql
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes - IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
  • CI tools: Git / Jenkins / SonarQube / XL Deploy / JFrog
  • Agile Scrum (Jira)
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English. English is required as the position involves communicating with clients located outside Quebec.
  • Only candidates legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada will be considered.
