About The Position

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our team. As a full member of our team, you will be in charge of many new upcoming projects and will help contribute, fix, and refactor our current codebase. You will provide visibility to management and provide them with the necessary indicators for decision-making.

Requirements

  • University degree: Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work with complex information systems
  • Knowledge of the financial markets (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.)
  • Organizational skills, methodical, analytical
  • Experience with .Net
  • DB: SQL Server / Oracle / Postgresql
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Experience with IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
  • CI tools: Git / Jenkins / SonarQube / XL Deploy / JFrog
  • Agile Scrum (Jira)
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English. English is required as the position involves communicating with clients located outside Quebec.
  • Only candidates legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Java (Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate)
  • Experience with Angular or React, an asset
  • Workload automation (Autosys), an asset
  • Elastic Search / Grafana, an asset

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand needs, help them identify the best technical approach, and estimate effort.
  • Develop new features, improve existing applications, and fix bugs.
  • Present features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business and receive feedback on delivered work.
  • Participate in Scrum-related activities, such as daily meetings, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives, and demos.
  • Improve and automate various cross-functional tasks around CI/CD frameworks or Observability.
  • Provide visibility to management and provide them with the necessary indicators for decision-making.
