About The Position

The State of Arizona (AZDES – DTS) is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, T-SQL optimization, ASP.NET, React, and REST APIs, along with experience working in Agile environments and writing user stories. This is a hybrid position. During the first three months, the selected candidate will work onsite as needed for training and knowledge transfer. After that, onsite attendance is expected approximately once per week or less. Flexible work from home options available.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with C# / .NET Development
• Strong experience with ASP.NET & .NET Core
• Expert-level SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience writing User Stories
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services
• Experience with Entity Framework
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with ReactJS (Hooks, Redux/Context API)
• Experience with SSIS
• Unit Testing and Test Data Preparation
• Software Design Documentation
• Performance tuning, concurrency, and latency optimization
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Develop scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, React, and SQL Server.
• Optimize SQL queries and improve application performance.
• Create technical specifications and design documentation.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate web services.
• Perform unit testing and maintain application quality.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
