About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in .NET Development on Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud based applications and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in .NET Development, specifically with .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Proficient in developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and test driven development (TDD).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software applications using .NET technologies on the Azure platform.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues, implementing solutions as necessary.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
