About The Position

University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is seeking a BE/BC Nephrologist to join a well-established practice in Easton, MD. UM Shore Medical Nephrologists provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for patients on Maryland’s eastern shore. Our physicians and nurse practitioners are recognized for their innovative patient service programs and for actively engaging in local outreach efforts to implement education programs that encourage early detection and treatments of renal disease. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient services. The health system serves Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, Kent, and Talbot counties and includes UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, UM Shore Health Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, and UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Requirements

Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty.
Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
