About The Position

UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital is seeking a Board Certified in Neonatology to provide coverage for a Level III NICU and Special Care Nursery. This role involves covering day shifts and night/weekend call, with an expectation to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes if called in. The position is due to short staffing and will cover the period from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027. The practice setting is an Open Bay setting within a Level I Trauma Center.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Neonatology
• NALS certification
• Valid Michigan State License
• Ability to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Responsibilities

• Cover day shifts (10 hours)
• Provide night/weekend call coverage (14-hour home call, must arrive within 30 minutes if called in)
• Care for neonatal patients in a Level III NICU and Special Care Nursery
