About The Position

Neonatologist needed for a permanent position in Lexington, KY. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, supporting approximately 4,000 annual deliveries. The practice consists of 2 physicians and strong neonatal NP support. The department has 32 beds and is a Level III NICU. This position is open to new graduates and operates on a team-based model. The coverage period is ASAP - Ongoing, with clinical duties and call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Active KY License or willing to obtain
• BC/BE (If BE: within 5 years of residency)
• DEA
• Clean record (highly preferred)
• NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)

Responsibilities

• Managing care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service; Supporting approx. 4,000 annual deliveries
• Performing & maintaining hands-on neonatal procedures
• Participating in mentorship & professional development (especially supportive for new grads)
