About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. The hospitals maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Requirements

Board Certification in Pediatrics.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Active New York State Medical License.
Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Function as the on-site senior medical physician providing clinical and technical assistance, as needed.
Consult on high-risk antepartum patients in Labor & Delivery.
Attend all deliveries with Residents during weekdays.
Attend all high-risk deliveries during evenings and overnights.
Supervise and teach residents and medical students.
Provide on-call coverage (weeknights, weekends, and holidays) as assigned by the Departmental call schedule.
