About The Position

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension All Saints Hospital to provide care for 22 weeks plus infants. This role involves a collaborative team-based approach between Neonatologists, with a neonatologist always available within 30 minutes. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with nursing staff to develop, coordinate, and navigate patient care plans, assist in or provide direct support during patient deliveries, conduct specialized consultations and provide guidance to mothers, and provide specialized, comprehensive care for premature infants.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced preferred.
• Ability to resuscitate infants, intubate, umbilical lines, and manage a ventilator/oscillator.
• Chest tubes.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure, work independently, problem solve, and think on your feet.
