About The Position
Our well-respected and established neonatology practice at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join this dynamic team of providers. This is a high-acuity Level III NNP opportunity focused on work-life balance. The practice is an 8-physician group that works alongside residents and nurse practitioners for both day and night shifts. The Level-III, 80-bed NICU at Wesley Medical Center handles approximately 6,000 annual deliveries, with the NICU and special care nursery averaging 1,000 admissions annually and an ADC of 60. Responsibilities include attendance at high-risk deliveries and newborn resuscitation, including intubation and line placement. Comprehensive services are provided except for ECMO and heart surgery. The role is affiliated with KU School of Medicine – Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities.
Requirements
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master’s degree
