Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - PRN
About The Position
Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President of Nursing, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers specialty care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. Provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing, case manager, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Has a collaborative practice agreement with the Neonatologist. Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team to support the region’s largest Level III NICU between Memphis and St. Louis.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program for Neonatal Nurses
- Credentialed and licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Neonatal Nurse in the State of Missouri
- NRP Certification
- BLS Certification
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years' experience in neonatal nursing
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak in fluent English
