About The Position

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) opportunity to join an established team at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is within a 60-bed Level III/IV NICU with approximately 800 annual admissions and an average daily census of 48. The position involves 12-hour shifts with in-house overnight call, supported by 24/7 NNP and Physician coverage. The team benefits from robust subspecialty support and opportunities for outreach across New Mexico. New graduates are welcome and will receive comprehensive orientation and mentorship. The daily responsibilities include serving as primary at deliveries with neonatologist support for complex cases, performing procedures like circumcisions and PICC line placements, and participating in ground transports. The coverage model includes 2-3 physicians and 2 NNPs on day shifts, and 1 physician and 1 NNP on night shifts. New graduates will start on day shifts.

Requirements

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
