About The Position

As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at CentraCare, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our neonatal patients This position offers up to a $10,000 bonus or potential for loan repayment. Summary In this role, you will provide hands-on care for high-risk and preterm infants, including attending deliveries and managing delivery room care for infants born at less than 35 weeks gestation. You’ll be responsible for NICU admissions, performing detailed histories and physicals, and managing the ongoing care of current NICU patients. The position includes participation in both ground and air neonatal transport and active involvement in multidisciplinary care management meetings. You will also provide phone and telehealth consultations to referring community providers, support the pediatric hospitalist service as needed, and ensure accurate hand-off documentation to support safe, seamless transitions of care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Graduated with a Master or Doctorate degree in Neonatology or formal training and/or Neonatology experience as a Physician's Assistant.
  • Neonatal Certification.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 2 years’ experience as an NNP or PA.
