About The Position
Espirita is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for experienced and skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurses to join a leading acute health system in Alaska. This role involves providing specialised, high-acuity care to premature and critically ill newborns. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- NCLEX-RN passed (or actively preparing)
- English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
- Minimum 24 months of recent NICU acute care experience
- Willingness to relocate to Alaska for at least three years
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialised, evidence-based care to premature and critically ill infants
- Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, ventilator settings, and respond rapidly to changes
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutritional support
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and manage emergencies such as sepsis or respiratory distress
- Educate and support families on infant care, feeding, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies and regulatory standards
