About The Position
The Neonatal Feeding Preparation Technician is responsible for calculating, preparing, labeling, and distributing human milk and formula for neonatal patients. This position ensures the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and precision in all aspects of milk handling, while maintaining detailed inventory records and adhering to strict infection control guidelines. This role maintains inventory, tracks usage, cleans and sanitizes equipment, and collaborates with clinical staff to support timely and safe nutrition delivery. The tech will support overall NICU operations by assisting with general department tasks to help ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- FHC - CA Food Handler Certificate required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hospital, nutrition, laboratory, or sterile preparation environment preferred
