About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor the daily operations of the Neon Purification System and to support manufacturing through the operation of process equipment, movement of compressed gas packages, final packaging, and completion of production records. This role supports multiple production departments to help increase productivity and throughput. Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in specialty gas or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily operations of the Neon Purification System.
  • Support manufacturing through the operation of process equipment, movement of compressed gas packages, final packaging, and completion of production records.
  • Support multiple production departments to help increase productivity and throughput.
  • Maintain flexibility throughout the production area.
  • Keep an Eagle Eye on safety.
  • Work with Leads and Supervisor to close out Corrective Actions received due to internal and/or external audits.
  • Ensure proper operation of Neon Purification System and ensure all Neon storage vessels are full and analyzed.
  • Ensure all MIP requirements are met for Covered Processes and tracked accordingly.
  • Independently operate and maintain proficiency on all processes within Neon Purification System.
  • Perform various SAP Transactions to maintain a streamlined stock and sales order flow.
  • Perform tasks associated with stock and sales order realization including cylinder requisition, record recording, data management, record handling.
  • Collect and record basic process data to ensure process optimization and product quality.
  • Support raw material and product inventory maintenance.
  • Review and /or perform raw material analyses utilizing departmental instrumentation.
  • Deliver on HPO projects associated with fill processes.
  • Perform basic system maintenance.
  • Enter Work Requests into Maximo for required maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Participate in the personnel and equipment scheduling process to ensure on-time delivery of products, both internally and externally.
  • Provide feedback, process information and documentation (including SOP’s, drawings, hazard analysis, etc.), for all departmental operations to Supervisor.
  • Provide backup support to the Process Technicians as cross-training permits.
  • Report infractions to Supervisor.
  • Serve as the point of contact with the Supervisor on all matters pertaining to that shift’s operation.
  • Communicate with other Lead Process Technicians on shift turnover matters.
  • Provide feedback on Process Technicians’ performance to Supervisor for performance reviews.
